Relief Fund Program Application
This program has been created by Black Mothers in Power with the goal to provide community members with diapers, wipes, & menstrual products and now looks forward to being able to assist you in having a Doula. The purpose of these funds are to lessen the financial cost for you and your family. This relief fund program is funded & led by community members and anyone residing within the state of Delaware is eligible to apply including Black women, Black mothers, caregivers, fathers, those experiencing unemployment, job loss, transiency, and re-entry.
We also seek to engage community members in the programs that we offer at our center, located at 2215B N Washington Street, Wilmington DE, 19802 (On Concord Ave.) In order to receive services, you will be required to attend a BMIP program/event to pick up your requested items. Thank you!
At Black Mothers in Power, we understand the importance of creating safe and healthy living environments for Black mothers and families. We are dedicated to advocating for programs that prioritize the well-being of our community. In collaboration with the New Castle County No-Lead Programs, we are proud to share information about the New Castle Lead and Healthy Homes Programs. These initiatives aim to address the dangers of lead exposure and provide resources to ensure healthier homes for all.
